* As you know, Rick Steiner has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since last October. If
you didn't know, he had many shoulder problems throughout his life and had several surgery's
to heel his bad shoulder. Rick Steiner was expected to return in mid-March, but is now being
said that his injury is taking longer than expected and is now expected to re-debut with World
Championship Wrestling in mid-April or possibly early May.
* Recently in the WCW Headquarters, Booker T fell out of favor with managment a few
months back when he put up a fuss to Eric Bishoff about his feud with Chris Benoit.
Booker T argued to Eric Bishoff that his feud with Chris Benoit wasn't equally "Size Matched"
with him and how his feud with him was taking to long and was getting nowhere. Booker T is
expected to be the next to feud and start a angle with Scott Norton, who recently came back
from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
 MANKIND VS. AUSTIN ON RAW
You won't see it live in the States, but throughout Canada, fans will watch
WWF World Champion, Mankind, defend against former champ, "Stone Cold" Steve
Austin. In the last issue of WIN, I made a mistake. Raw will be broadcasted on
SATURDAY at 8:00PM est/7 ct, that is the official date and time. It's really
smart how WWF planned this. Next Saturday, a huge Raw, then the day after,
live edition of "Sunday Night Heat", followed by "St. Valentine's Day
Massacre" on PPV, and the next day, a live edition of "WWF Raw"! If it will
make you any happier, WIN will have the results for you US residents on
Monday, so you don't have to wait until Saturday.
 MENG OUT OF "FIRST FAMILY"
WIN reader, [email protected], sent in the following....
" Hey I went to Thunder last night, and next week, the Barbarian sneak attacks
Meng! Jimmy Hart and him beat the crap out of Meng and then they left. "
...things look shaky in WCW's newest group.
 WCW/MTV SNOWBRAWL '99
Saturday February 6, 1999, is the date for MTV's "Snowed In", which will
feature WCW and nWo wrestlers, in "Snowbrawl". The start time is noon eastern
/ 11:00AM central, on MTV. Here is the official preview, from MTV.com;
" WCW Wrestling comes to Snowed In. Rob Zombie hosts with WCW's Jimmy Hart,
Larry Zbysko and The Nitro Girls, with Stuttering John as Ring Announcer.
It'll be ridiculous. (We mean that in a good way...) "
 MORE TIDBITS
